Meet the Board!
The Tempe Gardens Board of Directors is comprised of homeowners who love the community. Each member is a volunteer who dedicates about 30 hours every month of his or her time to serve you with the community's best interests at heart.
Serving you is a huge time commitment, but worth it because we are passionate about making our community a lovely place to live. Be sure to say hello to your board members if you see them around the community!
Some members work full time, and some are retired. Our backgrounds are diverse and our talents are varied. Every decision the board makes is researched, debated, and approached from all angles and multiple perspectives.
Currently, there are only 5 board members, and we need your help! Please come to the meetings to provide input, share your ideas, and offer to help us research and manage projects.
How do you become a board director?
The board directors are elected each September at the Annual Meeting if there is a quorum (51% of owners submitted ballots). There has not been a quorum in decades. When there is no quorum, the board is self-perpetuating and may elect board members themselves.
If you'd like to join the board, please get involved by attending the monthly meetings, sharing your opinions in a respectful manner, and volunteering to help with projects and committees. When there is an opening, we seek out those homeowners first!
Note. You may not become a board director if you have current violations or if you are not a Tempe Gardens homeowner. The board will not elect homeowners who behave disrespectfully or inappropriately toward community members or property managers.
